Your gift helps cover the various expenses associated with offering a Christ-centered education. Along with the General Fund there are a number of special projects to which to gift may be directed. You can give to any one of these funds/projects when you complete your donation.
PCA Society Bursaries - Prairie Christian Academy Society has established a limited financial assistance fund available for families with proven need. Fee assistance is intended to support families who have a short-term change in their financial status and cannot pay full society fees for a time. Fee assistance is not intended to be a long-term aid program. Recipients will receive up to 40% of their total society fees. Click here to download a copy of the Society Fee Bursary Application. Applications for assistance must be submitted no later than August 31 for the next school year.
Scholarships - The Kacy Nelson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2011 to assist female students entering the residence program. Applications for the scholarship must be submitted no later than August 31 for the next school year.
Missions teams - A key component of the Christ-centered education offered through PCA are the missions teams. Designed to assist in educating students "to pursue godly character and lifelong service," PCA currently offers two missions trips: Colombia and Greece. Students & staff raise funds for these trips with letters to friends & family. You may send your financial support for a specific student and/or a specific team if you wish. More importantly, please pray for the PCA missions teams as they go.
Grants - One percent of the annual school fees collected by PCAS shall be designated for the "Ministry Matching Grant" program. The goal of the PCAS Ministry Matching grants are to demonstrate the board's support of PCA missions endeavors and to support PCA students' personal involvement in preparing for lifelong service to God's Kingdom. Grants are available for individuals and groups alike. Grant applications must be submitted at least one month before the start date of the anticipated ministry experience.
